If you were to create from scratch the ideal superyacht destination, you’d probably come up with something not too dissimilar to Greece, with its enticing islands and historical echoes. The natural wonders of the cruising region are complemented by a number of alluring extras – not least of which are a generally relaxing pace of life and wonderful local hospitality. But it’s a surprising fact that few Greek companies have made their mark in the superyacht sector, especially given the country’s illustrious history of shipbuilding (from the trireme to the modern era).
